Jeronimo – “One Kiss” Album

Jeronimo ~ One Kiss:

And so the fulfilment of Jeronimo The Popstar continues….

His new single One Kiss is a total corker! Musically it feels like the instrumental is based on an up-tempo lambada with a bubbly, percolating beat that is hard to resist. Lyrically, it’s about a rather coy girl who won’t give young Jeronimo a bit of a snog, despite him wooing her at every opportunity (is she crazy, has she not seen him)?! The entire tune is filled with this zesty energy and kudos to Jeronimo for his personality totally shines through in both the audio and the video.

His voice is built for charming pop tunes like this, and it absolutely feels like this could be a massive summer smash all over the world. Bring on the album now please mister…

So…. More than a year in the making, in excited anticipation, our rising star Jeronimo is set to release his debut album One Kiss to the world on May 25th!

The album is contains his hit singles from the last year such as “Somebody who loves me” and “I Am No Superman”. His latest single “One Kiss” has already debuted as a new entry in the Dutch Singles Chart at 51! His highest new entry to date.

In Asia the album will have strong support from Cartoon Network Asia-Pacific through the promotion for their new theme song tag line “It’s A Fun Thing” performed by Jeronimo. This song and station ID will feature prominently on CN soon in: Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, India & Pakistan.

On-air use of the tag-line looks set to be extended to Japan, Korea and Taiwan once the roll out in the other territories begins.

Jerome Price – “Letting Go”

‘Letting Go’ by Jerome Price is released on 14 May, 2012.  The song was written in Jerome’s first year of study in Newcastle and takes its influence from student life in ‘The Toon’. University life also introduced him to House / Dance / Up Tempo music which had a profound effect on his productions, mosto of which is were made in the Halls Of Residence. His love of hip hop and rap remained strong and so crossing these roots with dance / pop tunes was a natural musical progression.

About Jerome Price
Born Nathaniel Jerome Anthony Price on 17 December, 1990 in Canturbury in Kent. The eldest of 5, Jerome’s emergence as a star follows in the footsteps of soul legend ‘Omar’ …  as well as being the nephew of the singer, music has always been in the family. Jerome has been producing music and rapping since the age of 14 – he now lives in Newcastle where he is studying for a law degree

The songsʼ influences are taken from the modern day stresses of being a student and the lack of money that go hand in hand. When the studying is done there is a need to “let go” and party! The song describes how Jerome and his friends would set about “Letting Go”. Their story is true of people from all walks of life and can stand for any way a person chooses to de-stress and forget about the worries in their life.
